You’ll have no box to manage. Your phone equipment resides in a data center with all of the disaster recovery systems you can imagine.
You can take your phone with you. Just plug it into an active Internet connection and you’re up and running.

7-digit Local Dialing
If your local area supports 7-digit dialing, you can continue to use it. Set this up from your Control Panel - set Country Code to 1 (US/Canada) and Area Code to your local one. This may be the same as the Area Code of your phone number or it may be completely different if you've gotten a phone number from outside your Area Code.
Call Blast
This revolutionary feature is a combination of traditional Call Forwarding and One Number (Find Me/Follow Me) services. You can have your calls ring simultaneously on your office, mobile and home phones, or they can be set up to ring sequentially in any sequence and with whatever delay you decide to set. If you want to be found, this makes sure that you are! CallBlast is configured from your VoIP Control Panel.

Extension number and DOD - an extension is an additional telephone connected to a line. DOD (Direct Outward Dialing) A trunk that supports outward dialing only and without the intervention of an operator or attendant. Extension to Extension Dialing - direct dialed call.
Voice Mail Box
Voice mail allows you to receive, edit and forward messages to one or more voice mailboxes in your company. Plus, get email notifications of new voice mail messages.

DID - Direct Inward Dialing
Allows a caller to dial a phone number directly to a specific person or phone without going through the attendant. The Hosted IP license includes one (1) DID.
Call Queue Groups
Advanced hunt group call handling and overflow capabilities. Allows callers to be placed in a hold pattern alleviating busy signals or direct to voice mail transfer.
Auto Attendant
Auto Attendant - Provides an automated unified front-end greeting for all calls. (Requires a DID)
Hunt Group
Hunt Group - Allows for automatic distribution of incoming calls to two or more extensions. A hunt group is a grouping of telephone lines (usually incoming) that are set up to receive calls in a particular order if a line is busy.
